For 2014, we as consumers are faced will plenty of decisions when it comes down to Decisions_clipartchoosing a vehicle for our day to day lifestyles. For example, you have the single woman, in her 20’s, who possibly lives a with a roommate, and works about 15 to 30 miles away from her place of residence. According to her budget, fuel needs, and then person style preferences, more or less, and most likely she will pick a car. This makes total, and perfect sense. Now what about the guy who just happened to get a bonus from his employ of 6 years, and is now looking to do some extra work around the Fixer Upper he has dedicated all his spare time to? That guy right there, needs a truck, and what better truck than the 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 Series.

When it comes to trucks, we all know that the Big 3 are at the top of the list, and these guys are constantly changing things around to make their own rides seem more appealing than the next one. Dodge on the other hand has let their trucks do the talking. No suspending trucks from chains, or creating a whole new line of off road vehicles just for the sake of boosting sales. Dodge has done nothing more than keep it simple, and for many people, that actually works. The 1500 Series line is a well tested line of trucks that Dodge is, and has been offering in different variations for some time now. And 2014 promises to offer even better options than before.

Dodge Ram 1500 Let’s begin with the 2014 Dodge Ram 1500’s brash good looks for a moment. Dodge has seemed to get it just right, although some people have been against the whole massively large front end of the pickup truck these days. The bold in your face front fascia, demands the attention of all those within it’s immediate proximity. There are various colors, and chrome enhancements to choose from, which in turn does nothing more than make your Dodge 1500, your very own. Under the hood of the new Ram 1500 is a new, and innovative power plant, that the engine designers built purposely to go head to head with the Ford EcoBoost motors. Being added to the already well known list of engines that include the likes of the 3.6L Pentastar V6, and the 5.7L Hemi V8, Dodge has included a very fuel efficient EcoDiesel motor to the ranks. This new EcoDiesel moniker is comprised of 3turbocharged and 0L, Dual Overhead Cam, (DOHC) 24 Valve V6, that produces 240Hp, and thumping 420lb feet of torque. These numbers came to pass through various methods of in house, and real world testing procedures. Dodge listened to the general public, and realized what people who drive pickup trucks really, really needed, and that’s torque. No matter how you slice it, power is nothing without torque, especially with a truck. This new EcoDiesel is set to remodel the working class truck market, and stir up the pot when it comes down to fleet sales.
